Drama serial centred around four sisters - Nita, Phil, Beth and Alice - who are reunited for the first time in 20 years when their estranged father dies. Beth seems to be falling apart under the weight of her guilt, and Phil realises there's something else bothering her. Dennis tells Nita that he'll consider selling Smyrna Grove to her, but shows her something that gives her a shock. Alice's visions become clearer during her second session with Bryce.
