Eight children are paired up with eight rescue dogs and eight dog trainers and must transform unwanted and unloved mutts into potential champions for a Crufts-style competition.

Eight children have been training their previously unwanted and unloved mutts from their rescue home for weeks to compete in a challenging course in front of a large audience. The first pair are eliminated from the weekly competition by the judges. Who will go and which rescue dog will now be up for adoption by the viewers?
