The Bacchae
Alan Cumming returns to the stage after 16 years away to appear as the god Dionysus in John Tiffany’s new and very modern production of Euripedes' The Bacchae which has the Theban woman dressed in scarlet gowns singing a mixture of gospel and soul
The Bacchae is at The Kings Theatre in Edinburgh until 18 August as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. It then travels to the Theatre Royal in Glasgow from August 28 – September 1, and then the Lyric Hammersmith, in London, from Sept 5 – 22.
The Bourne Ultimatum
The mystery is solved. Matt Damon takes on the role of Jason Bourne once again to find out just who is and why he has turned into an expert killing machine, as he takes on an evil element inside the CIA
Andy Warhol – A celebration of Life….. and Death
The blockbuster exhibition presents a broad range of Warhol’s work from the early 1950s to 1986 in various media – including painting, sculpture, photography, and of course painting.
