Roy and Hayley enjoy having time to themselves while Mike and Phoebe are fishing. Hayley tells Roy that Mike's got another date this week - he's answered a Lonely Hearts column ad. Roy thinks it's a sign of desperation.

Ruth and Josh see Mike and Phoebe fishing. Josh wants to have a go but Ruth has milking to do.

Hayley rushes off at the sight of Phoebe's prize catch. Roy blames this on an upset tummy but Hayley decides it's time they told Mike their news. Mike is overjoyed and knows that Phoebe will be chuffed.

Ruth needs Eddie to do an extra afternoon's milking on Wednesday but Joe informs her that Eddie won't be able to do his Thursday milking as William wants Clarrie and Eddie to meet Nic.

When they learn of William's invitation, Clarrie declares that the relationship must be serious. Eddie tries to wriggle out of it because he'll be milking but when Joe relays Ruth's message about Wednesday, Clarrie thinks this gives Eddie the perfect excuse to take Thursday off. Eddie doesn't want to get involved with William's business but Clarrie needs to be sure in her own mind that William's not making another big mistake.
