Screen Test

Eight people under 35 die every week from Sudden Cardiac Death Syndrome, an unexplained fatal heart attack. In this week's 5 live Report, Sarah Mills explores why screening tests that could save many of these lives have not been made available on the NHS.

We hear from the bereaved families of children as young as 10 who collapsed and died without warning and investigate whether the introduction of simple tests could potentially save hundreds of lives each year.
