A celebration of the life and work of the poet John Hewitt, 100 years after his birth. Presented by Marie-Louise Muir.

Hewitt grew up in Belfast, fell in love with the Glens of Antrim and their people, was exiled in Coventry, returned to his native city, and saw his poetic talent blossom late. With Frank Ormsby, editor of the Collected Poems of John Hewitt; Cahal Dallat, critic and stalwart of the John Hewitt Summer School; and Anne Tannahill, former Managing Director of Blackstaff Press.
