Michael Buerk narrates a documentary which looks back at 40 years of local radio in Britain. Launched on a shoestring budget, it was a new kind of broadcasting, but inside and outside the 大象传媒 there were powerful enemies who wanted it to fail. To some, local radio was a joke, but for others it was a vital link with listeners.
