Update on the 1980s series about a group of doctors just starting out on their careers. Dr Sarah Martindale spent three years gaining extra skills in Australia, but having returned to Britain in the expectation of a consultant's job, finds herself the victim of the NHS's cash problem. Sarah and her family want to settle down for good, and disillusionment is setting in.
