Sharon Hay has spent nearly 14,000 pounds updating the interior of her three-bedroom end of terrace house in Bretton over the years. She has put in a new bathroom and laid new carpets throughout, but has now run out of the money needed to add finishing touches such as tiling the kitchen. She wants to move somewhere more rural, but needs to recoup her expenditure.
