Taking Christmas as his theme (with a few selections to mark the New Year too), Bob steers clear of predictable, over-played festive songs. Instead he hand-picks such treats as Christmas Is A-Comin' by Leadbelly, Who Took The Merry Out Of Christmas? by The Staple Singers, Please Come Home For Christmas by Charles Brown, Don't Believe In Christmas by The Sonics, Christmas Tree by King Stitt, Santa Claus by Sonny Boy Williamson II and a New Orleans version of Silent Night by the brilliant Huey 'Piano' Smith and The Clowns.
