Drama series set in a close-knit Glaswegian community. Gina is relieved when Douglas finally appears, but Liz and Eileen are horrified to learn that she has agreed to put him up. Meanwhile, Douglas is dismayed as he learns more about the man he used to be and lets Gerry punish him. Ruth tries to convince Marty that it's time to try for another baby, while Eileen and Liam finally give in to their attraction for one another.
