When Shannon (Liz White) moves to a new town and meets her soap idol, Michaela (Denise Van Outen), her life begins to revolve around her new friend.
When Shannon and Jake, a young couple from the country, move to a new town, Shannon meets her soap idol, actress Michaela Carr, and the pair strike up an unlikely friendship. But soon Shannon's life begins to revolve around Michaela, to the detriment of her marriage. As the Silver Sphere Soap Awards Ceremony approaches, Shannon joins the team to ensure that Michaela will make the front pages in the most fabulous outfit. But will Shannon jeopardise her relationship to prove herself to her idol?
