This month, the Prime Minister announced a review on the controversial re-classification of cannabis.

Police raid three farms a day and Greater Manchester Police alone raided 351 farms last year. The cannabis market is a lucrative one and it's not just a few amateurs growing plants on the window-sill but serious organized crime run by gangsters involved in money-laundering, gun-smuggling and child-trafficking.

Medical experts now claim that 'super-strong skunk' - a homegrown variety of cannabis which accounts for sixty per cent of the market - is a major cause of psychosis and depression in young people. The 5 live Report investigates cannabis use in the UK and whether the government is being too strong on skunk.
