Scotland Office minister David Cairns has admitted that Labour has not had a good week in the wake of the Scottish independence referendum row. As recently as March, Scottish leader Wendy Alexander stated her opposition to the vote, but last Sunday changed her stance when she called on the Scottish Government to "bring it on" - a policy Gordon Brown failed to explicitly support at Prime Minister's Questions last week.
