Martin Handley introduces a series of concerts given by the 大象传媒 Philharmonic under chief conductor Gianandrea Noseda, celebrating the orchestral music of Brahms and Schumann. This programme pairs Schumann's virtuosic Cello Concerto with Brahms's Symphony No 1, hailed by the conductor Hans von Bulow as 'Beethoven's 10th'.
