Elaine's guest is Johnny Mathis, in an interview recorded at his home in Beverly Hills. Elaine talks to the star about his life-long love of musicals and Broadway.

Johnny also recalls his career in Hollywood and remembers many of his songs that have featured on the big screen. They include Chances Are (featured in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 1977); Wild is the Wind (Wild is the Wind, 1957); The Last Time I Felt Like This (Same Time Next Year, 1978); and A Certain Smile (A Certain Smile, 1958).
