Presented by Petroc Trelawny. An Edinburgh 2008 preview, including the Belcea Quartet, plus HK Gruber and tenor Anthony Dean Griffey on The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny.

Petroc Trelawny presents a selection of music and guests from the arts world, including previews of two events taking place at the Edinburgh International Festival 2008. Ahead of their concerts at The Queens Hall, the Belcea Quartet perform Bartok on the programme, and conductor HK Gruber and American tenor Anthony Dean Griffey discuss their production of Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht's bitter tale of greed and lust, The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny, which opens the festival.
