Verity Sharp's selection has a distinctly Scandinavian flavour and includes Finnish Jouhikko music by Lassin Logren, Norwegian singer Marit Mattisgard accompanying herself on the langeleik (Norwegian zither) and a performance by chamber choir Eesti Projekt. Plus the Anglo-Scots-Norwegian collaborative energies unleashed during 2008's WOMAD festival by the trio Fribo.
