In the equestrian, the overnight action is dominated by the cross-country phase of the team and individual three-day event, being held at Beas River some thirty minutes north of Sha Tin racecourse in Hong Kong. Michael Tucker commentates.
The action from the pool features the women's 100 back semi-finals, men's 200 free semi-finals, women's 100 fly final, men's 100 breaststroke final, women's 100 breaststroke semi-finals, men's 100 back semi-finals, women's 400 free final and the men's 4x100 free final. Great Britain's men open their hockey campaign with a tough match against Pakistan, who beat Team GB 8-2 in the Athens preliminary stage. Commentators are Barry Davies and Sean Kerly.
