Is household insulation the answer to rising fuel costs?

Graham Stewart takes your calls on a new UK government package which could cut household energy costs. Is this the right solution, or would a windfall tax be more effective?

The UK government is announcing an energy saving package which "could" save households 拢300 a year on energy bills. Even though heat insulation measures are a devolved matter, the Scottish Government has said it will fight for a "fair share" of this 拢1bn package. Will insulating your loft help you out in time for this winter, or is more immediate help required, as the Scottish Finance Secretary John Swinney is arguing? And will it make much difference without the windfall tax on energy companies demanded by the unions?

Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
