Alasdair MacLeod settles down in front of a welcoming fire at Boat of Garten to sample a few Speyside whiskies under the expert guidance of whisky expert Murdo Campbell. The intrepid presenters visit Rothiemurchus Estate to get a close look at the estate's herd of deer, and then it's inside the estate lodge to learn how to cook Fillet of Venison with a Juniper and Port jus with estate chef Norma Hutton. As night falls Maggie and Alasdair mix a whisky cocktail or two and cook their evening meal of Connage Dunlop Cheese bake with hot smoked trout.
