Amateur chefs compete for the opportunity to go into business with distinguished restaurateur Raymond Blanc.
This time, Raymond instructs the couples to start a takeaway service. British people spend around 95 million pounds a week on takeaway meals: a lucrative business but a risky one. Extra orders can put huge pressure on a kitchen and if the couples get it wrong the take home food may well put off valuable customers.
One couple's quest for quality has them offering carry-outs to the pretty young things at Henley Regatta. For another couple, a take-away service proves not to be the opportunity they are looking for. But for some it turns out to be a surprise hit - until Raymond asks some searching questions.
The restaurant business is a balancing act and Raymond decides who has managed to make a success of their takeaway trade while keeping their restaurant running.
