A detached house in Chorlton, Manchester is home to Alan Cook and, until recently, his partner Karen. But now Karen's job has taken her down south, and the couple have been living apart for months. The house looks rather empty with Karen's furniture already gone, and Alan has run out of steam with the home improvements. Can Kristian persuade Alan to roll his sleeves up and finish what he started, get those buyers in and reunite these long distance lovers?
