Philip Dodd discusses the rise and fall of the Baader-Meinhof group - which terrorised Germany in the 1970s - with Stefan Aust, whose book about the notorious but glamorous gang of young people has been made into a film. The Baader-Meinhof members were mostly middle-class educated people who bombed, kidnapped and murdered as a protest against a government they saw as a part of a new breed of fascism.
