It is a parent's worst nightmare when their child falls seriously ill and is taken into hospital, and for the nurses on the front line this means caring for the entire family. Among the patients we meet on the children's ward at Whipps is a thirteen year old girl struck down with a deadly form of meningitis, and we follow her battle for survival.
