Penny Gore presents a celebration of the musical life of Norway and Sweden, with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven, and young Swedish soprano Elin Rombo singing music from France and her native land.

Plus veteran Russian conductor Gennady Rozhdestvensky with the Oslo Philharmonic in a revival of a notable Norwegian orchestral work from 1916, alongside the biggest symphony written by a man the orchestra have made their speciality - Tchaikovsky.
