Suzy Klein presents a concert given by the 大象传媒 Symphony Orchestra with Ali Tufekci's traditional ensemble featuring music inspired by Turkish culture.
The concert includes works by the grand old man of Turkish music, Ahmed Adnan Saygun, who was to his country what Jean Sibelius is to Finland, and his contemporary Ulvi Cemal Erkin. Plus a new work by Michael Ellison for symphony orchestra, Turkish ensemble and solo cello, along with music by Mozart.
