Claire Martin presents a set by Stan Tracey and his Octet from the 2008 London Jazz Festival. They perform a selection of Stan's original tunes including Newk's Fluke - dedicated to Sonny Rollins - Rocky Mount, a tune inspired by Thelonious Monk and the Cuban Connection, composed to show off the soloists.
