Julian Joseph presents a concert from Detroit violinist Regina Carter, as well as a feature on trumpeter Christian Scott, who discusses his album Anthem.

Julian Joseph presents a concert set by Detroit violinist Regina Carter. She took up the piano aged two and the violin at four, and then went on to attend the prestigious Cass Technical High School. Since then, her jazz career has taken off and she has now established herself in the jazz community, working with musicians such as Kenny Barron and Max Roach.

Plus 22-year-old trumpeter Christian Scott talking to journalist Kevin LeGendre about his forthcoming album Anthem.

She performed at the Dvorak Hall, Prague, with her quintet, featuring Xavier Davis (piano), Mathew Parrish (bass), Alvester Garnett (percussion) and Darryl Harper (clarinet).
