Is a mockery being made of justice?
Your calls on opera in prisons and a murderer who's studying for a degree. Plus: the Scottish Director of the Big Lottery Fund takes your calls. Presented by Graham Stewart.
A murderer is being bussed daily from Shotts prison to Edinburgh to study for an economics degree. Meanwhile, Scottish Opera is to perform in prisons to help inmates' self-confidence at a cost of £300,000 to the taxpayer. An unfair reward, or the best way to rehabilitate offenders?
Plus: the Scottish Director of the Big Lottery Fund, Dharmendra Kanani, takes your calls.
The Fund takes 14 pence of every pound spent on a Lottery ticket. With a remit covering health, education, environment and charitable purposes, they're focussed on "bringing improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need". Are they spending your money the right way? And what projects do you think are deserving of your cash?
Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
