John Torode and Gregg Wallace host the chefs' contest. Contestants face an 18-hour shift at Bistro One Ninety at the Gore Hotel and the Park Restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental.
Three contestants from the 2008 series return to have another shot at the MasterChef title. As they have been here before they face a tougher test: they must survive an 18-hour shift in professional kitchens.
First they go to Bistro One Ninety at the Gore Hotel for breakfast service, and then on to the Park Restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel for evening service. Who has the endurance to make it? Only the best go through to the quarter-final.
