Trainee magicians compete at a magic school.
It is the final day at magic school, and the atmosphere is tense. The six remaining sorcerees are aware that before the sun sets, the Sorcerer must choose his next apprentice. After days of battle, the sorcerees face a final hurdle: mastering the most challenging magical subject yet, extreme magic.
Miss Evans teaches the girls to pick a volunteer's card out of thin air with their feet. Mr Knight shows the boys how to find a signed rubber duck in a pool of 100 identical ducks while blindfolded. As the finalists perfect their routines, the teachers' own bitter rivalry is brought to a head when they compete in the Teacher Challenge decider.
In the theatre, the finalists face their biggest audience, packed with friends, family and ex-sorcerees. To be in with a shot at the title they must draw on all the skills learnt at magic school. Nerves reach fever pitch as they take to the stage for their definitive performances. Who has the audience in the palm of their hand, and whose trick goes wrong before it has even begun? They are desperate to win the title but there can only be one Sorcerer's Apprentice.
