Christopher Caldwell
Philip Dodd talks to American author and polemicist Christopher Caldwell, whose latest book argues that European culture is seriously challenged by mass immigration.
Philip Dodd talks to American author and polemicist Christopher Caldwell about his new book Reflections on the Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam and the West. It looks at half a century of mass immigration in Europe and suggests that European society has overestimated the need for immigrant labour and underestimated how much religion redefines culture. Caldwell also sees the most dangerous sticking point between Europe and its Muslims as being feminism, suggesting that European styles of sexuality and gender relations are the only non-negotiable demands Europe makes of its citizens.
