With Melodies for You. Featuring film scores from Around the World in 80 Days and The Yangtze Incident. Plus vintage recordings of Laurel and Hardy add a dash of comedy.
Alan presents film scores from Around The World In 80 Days and The Yangtze Incident, which starred Richard Todd and told the story of HMS Amethyst in the Second World War.
Vintage recordings of Laurel and Hardy and music hall devotee Roy Hudd provide a dash of comedy, alongside TV themes from A Family at War and The West Wing.
Classical excerpts include the Intermezzo from Manon Lescaut by Puccini and Fingals Cave by Mendelssohn.
