Abram Wilson and Bojan Z

Julian Joseph introduces trumpeter Abram Wilson and pianist Bojan Z performing at the 2009 Bath Festival, from the city's Invention Studios.

Radio 3 at the Summer Festivals

Julian Joseph presents performances from two very contrasting bands given at the Invention Studio, Bath, for the 2009 Bath Festival.

The programme begins with a set from pianist Bojan Z, who performs with a new line-up. Born in Belgrade, Bojan Zulfikarpasic played the piano for family and friends from a very early age. He later gained a scholarship to study for three months with Clare Fischer at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan in the USA, and currently records on Label Bleu.

In addition, the gig features New Orleans trumpeter and singer Abram Wilson, also a Jazz Warriors member, performing new material with his Quartet.
