Isabel Hilton meets Julia Franck, author of The Blind Side of the Heart, the novel which won the 2007 German Book Prize, and has become a literary sensation.

Andrew Graham-Dixon reviews the new exhibition of Futurism at Tate Modern, while journalist and documentary-maker Justine Hardy talks about her book In the Valley of Mist, which charts the transformation of the the former tranquil paradise of Kashmir into a conflict zone.
