One of the UK's biggest sub-prime companies comes under the spotlight; and how to be fashionable without forking out a fortune.

One of the UK's biggest sub-prime companies comes under the spotlight. The company acts as a broker, finding loans for people with poor credit records. Many customers complain because they don't understand that the company charges a fee for this service, and across the UK the 大象传媒's received over a thousand complaints from customers about the company. Previous X-Ray investigations have highlighted customers who have had trouble getting the fee charged by the company refunded. Now there are new concerns about the way the company's being regulated.

Are you dreading the cost of kitting out your teenagers for their school prom. The expensive frock, the accessories, the hair, the spray-tan? Reporter Rachel Treadaway-Williams takes a group of sixth-formers from Cardigan to explore the charity shops of Aberystwyth. With the help of designer Helen Rhiannon, they discover that it is possible to be fashionable without forking out a fortune.

And we help X-Ray viewers Helen and Ian tackle their redundancy, with advice on how to update their CV's and tackle those job interviews, with some help from Anna Howell from Careers Wales.
