A celebration of Haydn's music, featuring concerts from some of the major cities in Europe with which the composer was associated, including Paris, Vienna, London, and beginning and ending at the Esterhazy Palace in Hungary where he spent a large part of his life.

Contributors include Roger Norrington, Alfred Brendel and Richard Wigmore. Roderick Swanston and Lucie Skeaping provide a tour round Haydn's haunts in London and Vienna.
