As the Government prepares to roll out a new syllabus for learner drivers from October, a survey suggests the vast majority of drivers are calling for even more action to toughen up the process of learning to drive. So should, for example, newly qualified drivers be placed on a probationary period and those under 20 be restricted from driving at night and on motorways?
