He reflects on the impact of the Vietnam War on his career, and reveals the bullying tactics of his teacher Ralph Kirkpatrick. He also considers the sometimes difficult working relationships with some of his colleagues, and how nervousness, stress and anxiety had a detrimental affect on his health.
