Christopher Bett died leaving an estate worth 拢100,000. As he was adopted after his mother died, his adoptive parents are legally seen as his blood relatives. As the investigation progresses, it sheds light on an age in which illegitimacy was seen as a sin and leads to a bittersweet discovery for Daisy's family.
