Tara is disappointed when Elliot loses confidence in himself on the day of their pioneering operation, while Donna finally says goodbye to her father.
Elliot loses confidence and refuses to operate on little Lucy, so Tara says she will go with Joseph instead. But after talking to Connie, Elliot realises he cannot stay away. The operation is a success - and is even sealed with a kiss!
When tests reveal Derek has no stem brain activity, Ric struggles to break the news to Donna.
Just when Oliver thinks he has got one over on Chrissie, he accidentally sends her a rude email intended for Penny. Serious grovelling is required before peace is established again.
