Do we treat alcoholism seriously enough?

Graham Stewart speaks to friend and former colleague Ray Daniels, who's dying from the effects of alcoholism.

Graham Stewart speaks to friend and former colleague, Ray Daniels, who has just months to live after battling his addiction.

Daniels, best known as presenter of Real Radio's drivetime show between 2002 and 2003, claims the health system has abandoned him and won't give him the residential care he requires.

It comes after recent figures revealed only eight per cent of people in Scotland with a serious alcohol problem are accessing specialist treatment - almost half the percentage who do so in North America.

Graham Stewart takes your calls, texts and emails.
