Coverage of the London leg of the World Championship Series, in which the world's top triathletes do battle in Hyde Park. The eight-venue 2009 series, which began in South Korea in May and culminates in the Grand Final on Australia's Gold Coast in September, has replaced the previous one-day championship format and is designed to pit the world's best against each other on a regular basis.

Britain's Alistair Brownlee has been in tremendous form and will be the man to beat in London. In the women's event, Australian Emma Snowsill will look to add the new title to the Olympic gold she won in Beijing in 2008. Commentary comes from Matt Chilton.
