Shereen Nanjiani sits in
Is the Scottish Government speaking for Scotland over the Lockerbie bomber's release? asks Shereen Nanjiani.
As criticism mounts from both sides of the Atlantic, the First Minister Alex Salmond says releasing the Lockerbie bomber was the "right decision". It follows an attack by the head of the FBI, who said freeing Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi made a "mockery of justice", and Scotland's former first minister Jack McConnell who has called it a "grave error of judgment".
As MSPs prepare to debate the controversial release, has the justice secretary's decision brought shame on our country or should we be proud of our values in showing compassion and mercy?
Shereen Nanjiani (standing in for Graham Stewart) takes your calls, texts and emails.
