During his tenureship there, the paper revealed Kim Philby as a spy and exposed the thalidomide scandal

Evans discusses his career in print journalism, his editorship of the Sunday Times and his thoughts on the profession today. He also talks about whether the kind of investigative reporting he did is still feasible today, as well as the apparently parlous state of print journalism.
