Culture secretary Ben Bradshaw on the future for UK broadcasting, the impact new media is having on newspaper opinion and how successful is the 大象传媒 Trust?

The Press Complaints Commission has received more than 22,000 complaints about an article on the death of the Boyzone singer Stephen Gately in the Daily Mail. Was this an orchestrated internet 'hate' campaign or a spontaneous response to a provocative article? Emily Bell, director of digital content at The Guardian, gives her thoughts.

It's been another big week for the 大象传媒 Trust. First the shadow culture secretary Jeremy Hunt called for it to be abolished, then Peter Hain asked the chairman, Sir Michael Lyons, to block the appearance of BNP leader Nick Griffin's appearance on Question Time. David Elstein joins Steve to discuss how successful the 大象传媒 Trust has been in doing the job it was set up to do.

Steve also talks to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Ben Bradshaw, about his plans for the future of UK broadcasting, print and online.
