Complaints about noise pollution have quadrupled in recent years, according to Scottish Government figures. The annual rise from 10,000 complaints a year to 40,000 last year followed the introduction of new domestic noise laws in 2004, and the setting up of call centres for handling complaints. Has your life been made a misery by loud stereos, rowdy parties and barking dogs? And did the council do anything about it?
