Dan Walker and guests preview the big Chelsea and Manchester United clash, plus Tottenham v Sunderland and Wolves v Arsenal. It is also the first round proper of the FA Cup.
Dan Walker looks ahead to the weekend's football fixtures. Either Chelsea or Manchester United have won the title for the past five seasons and the two go head-to-head at Stamford Bridge, having both been in Champions League action during the week. The Blues took just one point from last season's league meetings between the sides but did come out on top in the Community Shield after a penalty shoot-out in August. Both sides will be desperate for three points, and with an international break looming, victory will come with an added psychological boost.
Premier League games include Sunderland travelling to Tottenham, while Arsenal visit Wolves in the tea-time kick-off.
It is also the first round proper of the FA Cup, always a special day in the English football calendar. Which non-league clubs will be making the headlines?
