Sporran Makers

A look at a traditional Scottish sporran workshop, which has lost its competitive edge to cheap foreign imports. Will the firm overcome its financial difficulties?

Mr Scott is the boss of a traditional Scottish sporran workshop. The business has lost its competitive edge to cheap foreign imports, despite its Scottish brand.

In between shouting at his son, swearing at the world and venting his frustration on the phone to his remaining customers, Mr Scott inspires his aging workers to soldier on.

With globalization threatening the viability of this small family business, will Mr Scott manage to overcome his financial difficulties and pass on a healthy business to his son?
